The Department of Mathematics, SB College, Changanassery is organizing Winter School in Mathematics for Undergraduates from 26 th to 30 th December 2019. The programme will be beneficial for the students preparing for competitive examinations like JAM or any MSc entrance examinations. The number of participants is limited to 40.

National Seminar On Galois Theory and its Applications 2019 - Palakkad, Kerala

The Department of Mathematics, Government Victoria College, Palakkad, is organizing a three day national seminar on Galois Theory and its Applications  dur ing 27-29 November 2019.

Government Victoria College, Palakkad i s a prestigious institution of Kerala  with a long and glorious tradition of 125 years. This prominent institution estab lished in 1866 has given birth to many nationally and internationally renowned personalities. Though it started as a rate school in 1866, it was raised to the level of a high school in 1877. The high school was upgraded to a second grade college and was affiliated to the University of Madras in the year 1888. Degree
course in Mathematics was started in the year 1939. The department has been offering post graduate course in Mathematics since 1982.
