Kerala Mathematical Association Annual Conference 2024

The Annual Conference of Kerala Mathematical Association (KMA) and International Conference On Mathematics for Data Science & Dynamics-2024 (ICMDD-2024) is scheduled to be held from February 1 to 3, 2024. This event is organized by the Department of Mathematics & Centre for Topology and Applications, Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET - Autonomous), Rajagiri Valley, Kakkanad, Kochi. The conference aims to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, results and concerns as well as real life challenges and possible solutions in the field of Topological Data Analysis,  Data Science, Topological Dynamics, Graph Theory, Operator Theory, Stochastic Process and other areas. Initiation into Mathematics 2024, Kerala

Second year undergraduate training programme "Initiation into Mathematics (InitMath)" Programme will be organized at Department of Mathematics, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda, Thrissur, Kerala, during March 11 – 16, 2024.

Academic programme

Three fundamental courses in mathematics will be taught by faculty, who are highly experienced in the MTTS teaching methodology. The aim of the instructions is not to give routine lectures but to stimulate the participants to think and discover mathematical results.

Eligibility

Second year undergraduate students with mathematics as one of their main subjects are eligible. Students from Kerala will be given preference, and those from neighbouring states (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Puducherry) will also be considered.

Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme 2024

 

32nd Mathematics Training and Talent Search (MTTS) Programme will take place at three venues during May-June 2024.

There are three levels in this Programme: Level O, Level I and Level II. Three camps will be conducted for Level O and one each for Levels I and II.

• Level O : There will be courses in Foundations, Linear Algebra, Analysis, and Number Theory/Group Theory.
• Levels I and II : There will be courses in Algebra, Analysis, Topology and Linear Algebra.

• Online application : from January 4, 2024 and ends on February 20, 2024
• Recommendation submission by teachers : Same as above
• Publishing selection list:March 09, 2024
• Online Confirmation during 3rd April 2024 to 15 April 2024
